I love what I do, because I am making a real difference in people’s lives by helping them understand the complexities of financial planning.
When I sit down with you, I bring a wide variety of work and life experiences to the table. A division one NCAA college athlete, I later played professional volleyball in both Europe and Asia. When I returned to my home state of California, I went back to school and earned a teaching credential and Master's Degree in Education. When I had an opportunity to work with David Duttenhofer at Duttenhofer Advisory Group, I never looked back. David became my mentor. I earned my CFP®, and then founded Oak Street Advisory Group, LLC. David soon transitioned his clients to Oak Street.
We were the only fee-only advisors serving Laguna Beach, where I continue to work with a loyal group of local clients while expanding our services in Nevada City and beyond.
What I love most about being a fee-only planner is that every day is different. I get to learn constantly, and I get to help people take control of their financial future. To give back to the profession that means so much to me, I served for five years on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Orange County, including a term as President of the 500+ member organization. I am a current member of the board of Community Beyond Violence, a non-profit organization working to end domestic violence and sexual assault in Western Nevada County.
At home, I focus on my own family, having become a mother in 2018. My daughter is my sweet, spicy, sidekick and I can't imagine life without her!
